DESCRIPTION
Repair mortar 119 is is a one-component, purpose non-shrink, cementitious, trowel applied single pack repair mortar for repairs to concrete sections & plastered surfaces. Concrete Repair mortar is composed of good quality cement, properly selected aggregates & additives. It is used & designed for repairing of damaged reinforced concrete elements like columns, beams & structures.

METHOD TO USE
Surface preparation
Proper repairs depend upon a solid bond between mortar and base surface. Thoroughly clean and roughen subject area. Remove any curing compound, grease, oil, loose carbonated concrete, dirt, dust, rust, etc... from exposed slab. Surface must be mechanically prepared to obtain sound concrete. The concrete surface that will receive the product must be sufficiently saturated with water during 12 hours before the application can begin. Do not apply on a surface where ponding water is present.
Mixing
Repair mortar 119: 25 kg mix with clean Water : 4.2 liter
Pour 4.0 liter of water into mixing container and slowly add Repair mortar 119 powder while stirring with an electrical mixer at 500 rpm. Adjust to desired consistency by adding part portion of 0.2 liter water. Mix for 3 minutes until lump free homogenous consistency.
Application Method
Vertical surfaces
Apply a tight coat of Repair mortar 119 to surface using trowel, rubber float trowel or gloved hands to force material into all crevices, cracks and edges to eliminate all air pockets and ensuring complete contact for a good bond. Apply material from same batch to build to desired thickness. Minimum thickness is 1mm . Two layers of Repair mortar 119 may be applied in as little as 30 minutes after set time.
Applications greater than 30 mm thickness
Place one or two layers totalling not more than 30 mm thickness, leave surface rough, then damp cure. After 6 hours, apply an additional 1 or 2 layers totalling not more than 50 mm each. Finish final layer with steel trowel or sponge float. If material has begun to set prior to placing, discard it.
Curing
The curing must begin as soon as the final set is attained. The final set will vary depending on site conditions. Immediately after application the surface with clean potable water being careful not to erode the surface with water pressure. Continue this curing for at least 4 to 6 hours or tack rags over patch and keep wet for first 2 hours and leave rags for 4 more hours
HANDLING
Repair mortar 119 should be stored in a dry place under shade, free from moisture contact. Remove splashes from skin with water. In case of eye contact, wash with plenty of water. If irritation persists, seek immediate medical
