Drymas Top

DESCRIPTION
DrymasTop is Cement based, quartz aggregate, ready to use ground hardener that applied as a dry powder form to the surface of fresh. DrymasTop produces a hard, dense, wear resistant surface which resists corrosion and absorption of grease, oils, alkalis and most chemicals. Typical areas of use include concrete floors in garages, steel mills, generating plants, loading platforms and wherever is heavy-duty wear resistant floor finish is required.

RECOMMENDED USES 
• Interior and exterior areas, on industrial facility grounds,
• Warehouses and mechanical workshops, garages and parking lots, 
• Used in areas where surface abrasion is intensive, such as warehouses, loading and unloading areas and workshops.

PACKING 
DrymasTop is packed in 25 kg bags. 

STORAGE & SHELF LIFE: 
DrymasTop as supplied shall be stored in a cool and dry place away from sunlight, moisture and high humidity and have a shelf life of 12 Months in the original packing.

METHOD TO USE
Surface preparation
The concrete should be sufficiently set to support kneeboards and the surface water disappeared.

Application Method
DrymasTop as it comes from the container over the entire surface.  Care should be taken to broadcast it low across the surface to prevent air currents from separating the material.
For uniformity of colour and thickness, DrymasTop should be applied in two shakes using approximately two-thirds of the total amount on the first shake and applying the second shake at right angles to the first. To achieve the most uniform color, the floor should not be overworked or worked when bleeding of the concrete is still evident.  A colored shake must be worked in slowly, carefully and uniformly for proper distribution and depth of color.
Allow DrymasTop to absorb moisture and float it into the surface with a wood float or mechanical trowel equipped with float blades in a flat position.  Do not steel trowel.  Apply second shake and again allow it to absorb moisture from the floor and then float into the concrete surface.
When the surface has become sufficiently firm, steel trowel to produce the desired finish. Cure the natural.

COVERAGE 
Light Traffic: 3.0 – 4.0 kg/m2 
Medium Traffic: 3.5 – 5.0 kg/m2 
Heavy Traffic: 5.0 – 7.5 kg/m2 
Coloured Floors: 5.0 – 7.5kg/m2
